I think both CFA and MBA are good. I encourage all to try CFA exams, while taking their MBA at a top-tier world class buisness school.

I have found to my regret it's very much WHO you know, rather than WHAT you know. I was hunted from a great job back in the real world and will now be leaving this backwater as soon as I can, back to the real world. What a disappointment.

I would because I think that you have no choice really as if you have stock in companies that are listed on foreign markets then in real terms the market never closes. If the market never closes then you could go broke while you sleep.

We have a huge problem that is being made worse by the head-in-the-sand attitude here.

If anyone should work for nothing, it is surely the chief executives of the banks which are now reliant on taxpayer largesse. They should be paying the taxpayer for the privilege of keeping their jobs.

All banks should be working weekends ... financial markets operate 24hrs/7days a week ... deposit services and FX transactions are badly needed on weekends, same with brokerage activity ... if retailers operate 7 days why not banks?
